Mediterranean cultures are known for their passion, and yet Spain is incorrectly typified as the land from where the siesta came from. However Spanish contributions to world culture and art are endless. Just to begin with Spanish, a language spoken by more than 400 million people, Spain has undiscovered treasures that you will enjoy.

UNESCO, the cultural branch of the UN, declared several cities in Spain a Patrimony to Humankind; there are unique and amazing cathedrals and churches (two of the best examples would be the Cathedral of Cordoba, or the Sagrada Familia of Barcelona); a variety of cultural backgrounds both extinct as well as living (Did you know that Spain is actually made up of four different cultures? Castilian, Vasc, Catalonian, and Galician).

Spain is a land of variety and color, all of which spells passion. Passion about life and fun as you've never experienced before: San Lorenzo del Escorial, El Prado Museum, as well as the human factor of Dalí, Picasso, and even today's artists and musicians.
