GOYA. EL PELELE (1792).

Este cuadro fue pintado para que estuviese en el Despacho del Rey en El Escorial y representa el juego típicamente español del manteo. En este caso es un muñeco el que salta sobre la manta, con quien se divierten las cuatro jóvenes del cuadro. Pertenece a esa enorme serie de cuadros de Goya que reflejan las costumbres y diversiones de los madrileños de aquél tiempo.
Fíjate bien en las caras de júbilo de las cuatro muchachas y en la inexpresión del muñeco (pelele) que está en el aire.
