HOW TO FIND THE PRODUCT OR PRODUCTS THAT FIT YOUR NEEDS

CyberSpain has a user friendly process and you can go directly into SHOP just by clicking on the icon on your screen found at the bottom of every page. Our catalog has been organized into sections accordingly to the type of product. Once you have chosen a section, you will see in your screen a list of items by name or title. To get additional information you can choose anyone item by checking the box to the left of the same. Then just click on SELECT. Also you can click on each item, and a brief description and in some cases an image of the same will appear on the screen.

At this point, follow the prompts in order to fill the purchase order: the desired quantity, the country to which the item is to be processed to, and the shipping preference. That is all! Our program will take care of the rest, so that you will know form the beginning how much your order costs in terms of weight and quantity of the selected products. As you can see this is a very simple process at the best value!

Also, in all of the pages, you will see (or you have seen) the icon MAS COSAS (More Things), upon clicking on it, it will automatically create a list of products related to the page that you are reading at that moment. In this way, we do the work for you, and save some of your precious time if all you want is to find articles on a specific subject. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES CYBERSPAIN ACCEPT?

CyberSpain accepts VISA and MASTERCARD credit cards. We service customers in over 60 countries and have developed an order processing system built around secure credit card transactions.

Once you have selected your items, and calculated the costs of shipping and handling, you can finalize the purchase by providing us with the necessary data so that your order will arrive at your doorstep correctly. Your card will only be charged for merchandise shipped to you. It is also possible to pay directly online through our secured lines, or when we receive a fax with your order.

Secured Electronic Orders: All information must be correct for the order to go through. The name of the person which is conducting the purchase must match the name of the credit cardholder. Once a specific article, the quantity of the same, and the shipping method have been selected, all of the personal data must be filled for shipping and billing. Press the corresponding button on your screen. A message will appear informing you that your data is being transferred through our secured line. All of the data will be encrypted directly to Visa or MasterCard. Once your information is processed and cleared, you will see in your screen an order number assigned to your purchase. Write it down for future reference.

Fax Orders: You can select this avenue only if you do not feel comfortable with the Electronic order format. To do so, once your selection is done in terms of item, quantity, and shipping method, you will fill out the personal data for shipping and billing purposes. Then press the screen button: Shipping of Data by Fax. At this point, print the page that appears on the screen and fill it out the missing information (credit card data such as: type of card, name as it appears on the card, number ,and the expiration date), and send it via fax to any of the identified numbers that appear at the top of the form. We will remit your purchase order number through e-mail.

Money Transfer Orders: We also accept bank transfers only when this is done directly through our bank, and when the transferred amount is sufficient to justify this method, and not the normal credit card purchase. In any way, the banking costs for this method of payment, must be paid by the customer. Once you have selected your items, and calculated the costs of shipping and handling, click on: Bank Transfer Purchasing. You will see the TRANSFERForm on your screen. This form have all the important information in order to track your transfer. Once saved, send it to us by e-mail (hola@cyberspain.com and write TRANSFER on the subject) or fax to any identified numbers that appear on the form. Doing this way we will keep reserved that product for you until reception of your money order and, at the same time, we can keep track of your order. Our banking information:

PRICES

Prices are valid for the same date of an Secured Electronic Order. Prices and availability may vary if you use the CyberSpain FAXForm and do not submit it on the same day it was created. The costs of the products will be conducted in Spanish Pesetas. The amounts of U.S. dollars that appear on the screen are only a guide, and may be subject to change accordingly. [Top]

WHAT IF I AM HAVING TROUBLE ORDERING?

If you are having trouble ordering email a note to us (webmaster@cyberspain.com) and tell us exactly what browser and version you were using, the time, date and time zone you are in. We can check our logs and try to analyze the problem.

Note that your shopping basket will be emptied if you leave the CyberSpain Online Shopping Area. Each time you enter this area you are issued a new temporary shopping basket number. This number is also your order number when you make a purchase. [Top]

WHAT IF I PLACE AN ORDER ON FRIDAY, SATURDAY OR SUNDAY?

We ship orders on business days only. If you placed your order on a Friday night, it would be processed on Monday and sent to our distributors on Monday afternoon. If there are no problems getting a credit card approval it will be packaged and shipped on Tuesday. Once an order ships we inform the customers by email. [Top]

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY A SECURE TRANSACTION?

In response to your many requests to provide secure transactions, we have implemented our site with built-in encryption. To effectively use the secure encryption capability at this time, you must use a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol browser like Netscape. Possibly, your favorite non-Netscape browser may support this standard.

All versions of the Netscape Navigator browser (beginning with Beta 0.93 for Windows, Mac, and Unix variants) have integrated support for SSL. Because of export restrictions, The Netscape Navigator is limited to a 40-bit key size for the RC4 stream encryption algorithm (the encryption algorithm used by the Netscape Navigator's implementation of SSL). A message encrypted with 40-bit RC4 will take on average 64 MIPS-years to break (a 64-MIPS computer will need a year of dedicated processor time to break the message's encryption). This is not military-grade security, but the effort required to break any given "https" data exchange is definitely nontrivial. Here's a brief overview of the Netscape Navigator's graphical user interface (GUI) for security. This GUI is still evolving.

By default, a "security colorbar" appears at the top of each the Netscape Navigator window, right above the scrolling document area. If the colorbar is gray, the current document is not secure (that is, it was not transferred under cover of encryption); if the colorbar is blue, the current document is secure (that is, it was transferred under cover of encryption). The security colorbar does not indicate whether you can completely trust the document and its contents; it merely shows you at a glance whether the document was retrieved using encryption or not. The "Show Security Colorbar" option in the "Options" menu lets you turn the security colorbar on and off.

An icon in the bottom-left corner of each the Netscape Navigator window indicates the exact same thing as the security colorbar. If the icon shows a broken door key over a light gray background, the current document is not secure. If the icon shows an intact door key over a dark blue background, the current document is secure.

Various informative dialog boxes are displayed in situations where you are entering a secure space, leaving a secure space, submitting a form insecurely, and viewing a secure document that contains insecure inlined images. You can disable the display of these dialog boxes after they first appear or via the Netscape Navigator's Preferences dialog.

SSL provides:

. Server authentication, which allows any SSL-compatible client to verify the identity of the server using a certificate and a digital signature

. Data encryption, which ensures the privacy of client/server communications by encrypting the data stream between the two entities

. Data integrity, which verifies that the contents of a message arrive at their destination in the same form as they were sent


SSL employs public key cryptographic technology from RSA Data Security, an established leader in computer data security, and works witeck Box which states: [ ] "Check box and press "Continue" if you are having trouble with the next screens. Sometimes your Internet connection provider's server software will NOT allow Netscape secure transactions even though you have a Netscape browser."

The other problem may be in the hard disk memory cache set up with Netscape. If the memory (set in the Options, Preferences... menu)is too low it will freeze after a certain level of screens has been reached.

DOES CYBERSPAIN HAVE A PRINTED CATALOG?

Unfortunately we do not have a printed catalog. We currently list over 1,000 items and our inventory is constantly changing. A printed catalog would be outdated by the time it reached our customers numbering over 60 countries. [Top]

CAN I EMAIL MY NEXT ORDER?

Yes, you can! To do so, once you have selected the item or items, the quantity, and method of shipment of your liking, you will fill out the necessary personal data for shipping and billing. At this point, we recommend that you save this document (where no credit card information appears) and send it to us via e-mail at hola@cyberspain.com with NEW ORDER PLEASE PROCESS as a title in the subject line. Please specify in the e-mail and old order number so that we can refer to your credit card information of previous orders.

For security purposes, we require that you use the same billing address as identified in the previous order. We will not ship the order if we find a discrepancy with your order, but rather will contact you through e-mail for further instructions. [Top]

SHIPPING AND INSURANCE INFORMATION

Shipping is determined on the weight and distance required for delivery. Our base service in through United Parcel Service (UPS). If you choose this option, and at the moment that we have confirmed your transaction through e-mail, you will receive your shipping order number, which you can use to track your order through the UPS Tracking System at http://www.ups.com. We also offer the Spain's Postal Air Service as an option.

To determine the cost of shipping, do the following: once you have decided on the product (or products) and the quantity of the same, identify the country and the shipping method of your preference and push the button RECALCULATE. Our program will calculate the cost in seconds, and it is very flexible, so that everytime that you remove or add an article to your shopping cart, the price will be recalculated. In this way, you can be aware at any time of the total cost of your order.

Shipping insurence costs are included in all our prices. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND the use of UPS to ensure prompt and orderly shipping. Doing this way, you also benefit from the very reduced shipping rates we get from UPS. [Top]

EXCHANGE & RETURNS CyberSpain will exchange defective items for the same item. Refunds for unopened items only on products such as CDs, CD-ROMs, software, videos, cassettes, (or any product that upon shipping is wrapped) will be made without hesitation. Refunds will be posted to the credit card used on your original order less any shipping charges will be responsability of the purchaser and not of Cyberspain, unless otherwise determined by Cyberspain.

Return postage for defective items will be reimbursed to a maximum of the value of the invoice. The procedure must be as follows: If a package is received damaged, refuse delivery and contact us at ___________ . The damaged item will be replaced. TROUBLES CHANGING SCREENS OR ENTERING DATA

Netscape has some bugs when it comes to memory management. We have noticed a similar situation where there will be a lockup or data will be entered incorrectly.

There are several things you can do with the Netscape Browser. First go to the "Options" "General Preferences" Menu selection and increase the size of your hard disk memory cache. This will help for normal operations. For times when you have these problems you can go to the same screen and flush the memory cache. It doesn't always work. Sometimes you just have to re-start Netscape.

When the screen prevents you from going to the next one, it is usually because an Internet Proxy Server will not allow encrypted transactions. To get around this you can select the Check Box which states: [ ] "Check box and press "Continue"if you are having trouble with the next screens. Sometimes your Internet connection provider's server software will NOT allow Netscape secure transactions even though you have a Netscape browser."

The other problem may be in the hard disk memory cache set up with Netscape. If the memory (set in the Options, Preferences... menu)is too low it will freeze after a certain level of screens has been reached.

We receive many requests from customers looking for products that are not in our catalog. At CyberSpain, we strive to provide the best and most complete service to our clients. We are constantly looking to expand our product offering. If you make a special request, you should keep in mind that it is a special request: that may involve a longer period of time than a regular order would to be fullfield. We would follow this process: Once we received your request (you should send an e-mail to hola@cyberspain.com with the title SPECIAL REQUEST) ,we will respond you with another e-mail indicating prices, possible shipping and handling costs, and the availability of the same at the moment. The client, that is you, would then return response with the credit card or other financial statement (as indicated in this pages).
