ÁVILA SEPULCRO DE D. ALONSO DE MADRIGAL CATEDRAL DE ÁVILA Alonso de Madrigal, era el verdadero nombre de este obispo de Avila desde febrero de 1493. nacido en Madrigal de las altas torres en 1.404. Fue también canciller mayor del reino durante el reinado de Juan II. La vasta e interesante obra que nos dejó escrita trata de temas tan diversos como la teología, la mística, la astronomía, la caza... y de ahí el comparativo local: "Escribes más que El Tostado".

Alonso of Madrigal was the real name of the bishop of Avila in February of 1493.
